Rock a bye baby!

Sarina is getting a lot of practice nursing, swaddling, patting, shushing etc as she helps out her baby (Michelle) here she is helping Michelle sleep complete with nursing stool to put her feet up to relieve her back strain :)

After a fun filled Easter egg hunt, Sarina cracked open an Easter egg to find some jelly beans. Here she is as she eats her first ever jelly bean. It didn't take long for her to become a fan of jelly beans.

Hair cuts

Mommy gave sarina a hair cut today so now she is giving everyone of her deemed haircuts. Here she is giving ah ah a haircut. He has been promised a red lollipop if he is good.

Sarina's favorite thing about grocery shopping is the cool shopping carts. Here she is steering me around our local grocery store.

Sarina is big into making up her own songs. This weekend while we were playing outside, she accidentally wiped her nose with her hand resulting in a "boogie on her hand" ... and this song resulted!

Very proud big sister

Here are some photos of a very proud and excited big sister. Sarina is being a great big sister to Samara, taking care of her whenever she cried. It also helps that Samara made a good impression by bringing Sarina lots of fun presents.

Introducing Samara Jain

Dear Friends and Family:

We are happy to announce that our punctual little girl, Samara Jain,
arrived on April 5th. She arrived on her due date at 5:03pm; as if to
say, "My time in here is done, I'm clocking out," and arrived after
putting in a mere three minutes of overtime.

She weighed 7lbs 2oz and was a whopping 20" long. Mom was a trooper
and completed most of her labor at home, we arrived at the hospital
just for the final stages of labor and shortly after arriving, Samara
made her entrance.

Samara and mom are both doing great and Sarina is proving to be a
caring older sister.

Sarina has a new found passion for eating oranges. Good thing we have a neighbor with hearty orange trees we get to harvest.
