Sarina had so much fun with both Samir and Sachin mama this weekend when they came to visit us! Sachin did a spectacular job of entertaining Samara giving mommy a much needed break to do other stuff and Samir and Sarina were fast friends.

Strawberry Picking in Watsonville

On the long weekend, we all went down to Watsonville (en route to the Central Coast) for some berry picking. Smita grew up on berry picking and was eager to introduce the girls to the activity... Sarina took to it quickly and really enjoyed picking (aka EATING) the huge strawberries. As Sumeet put it, the berries were so abundant and high quality that it was almost too easy.

You'll notice all of Sarina's strawberries have long stems - she would only eat them if she thought they were strawberry "popsicles" as she doesn't think she likes fresh strawberries. . . she seemed to love them if they were "popsicles" - brilliant idea, daddy.
