Crawling game

In just a few short weeks, Samara has become a crawling expert (and is not trying hard to start walking.) Here's a fun crawling game with Mommy...

Recent Videos

The girls have been so much fun over the last month. They are playful with each other, and with Aji and Azoba. Samara is enjoying making raspberries at Azoba and crawls to him whereever he may be. Sarina is getting into big girl games like Memory Match and Fish (although she doesn't get the concept of holding her cards a secret) Apologies for the late posting (and 3 videos in one!) but we were busy globe trotting to Buffalo for the holidays to see Dadi and Dadu and with settling back in for 2012. Happy New Year all!

yay... crawling...

Our little Samara has been working incredibly hard on her crawling the last few weeks. She learned to move from sitting to a crawling position a few weeks ago and then learned how to crawl... but only backwards. Poor Samara would get so frustrated because she would want to go forwards to get something or to come to mommy or daddy but could only go backwards. We were happy to see her move around but sad to see her so frustrated.

She's been working hard at it the last couple weeks and today, for the first time, she crawled forward. She's excited and so are we!

I've been working on teaching Sarina a little about football. Here she's practicing running for touchdowns. I haven't yet gotten to the part that stopping to give your little sister a kiss isn't part of the game (you can hear her when running say "I want to give samara a kiss."
