May 28th Doctors Appointment

We went to the OB/GYN today and received some good news... all systems go! We were excited and relieved to hear that all is going fine. The doctor also did a sonogram giving us our first view of what appears to be a peanut. It appears to be about 21mm long and based on that length the due date is expected to be 1/2/09...

Exciting day - we had ice cream after the doc appointment to celebrate and are going out to one of Smita's favorite thai restaurants (Osha Thai) to continue the celebration.

The next doc appointment is in 4 weeks (at the end of the first trimester) and in the meantime poor Smita will continue to have lots of blood drawn to make sure all continues to be a-ok.
